Product Review – Tarte the Sculptor

The wonders of makeup don’t only make you look ready for a magazine cover. It can also make your face have a more slender look. If you feel conscious about your cheeks or overall face shape, you can make use of some contouring techniques to achieve a slenderizing effect. One product which I found to have this effective is Tarte the Sculptor. It is a handy contouring and sculpting stick which can help your face have an overall slimmer look. When used properly, it can help you achieve the look of high and chiseled cheekbones in just seconds.

What’s great about this product is that it glides effortlessly on the skin, can be very easy to blend, and has a lightweight formulation which makes it more enjoyable, I think. Despite the creamy texture when being applied, it has a light finish which doesn’t feel like you have a thick layer of makeup on. It is great for sculpting the neck, nose, and jawline, and can instantly give a lift to your cheekbones.

Tarte the Sculptor has no phthalates and parabens which made me love it even more. It would be much gentler on the skin compared to other bronzers and makeup. It makes use of mineral pigments which soften and soothe the skin and it also has vitamin C and E which brighten the skin and act as a protective layer of antioxidants.

It would take a bit of adjusting to work with the cream-based contouring stick. At first, I had a bit of a hard time getting the hang of it—it disappeared when I blended, and reapplication was needed, but when I was adjusted, the overall finish was great. I’ve heard some of my friends say they broke out while using this cream-based product, but I haven’t had that problem so far. Just cleanse your face thoroughly and make sure none of it is left before sleeping and I think everything will be alright. Just practice a bit on your blending and take some time working out which parts of your face would best benefit from contouring and this product will surely be your best friend.
