Sofia Vergara to Launch ‘Sofia’ Fragrance

Are you ready for some exciting news? Well, here we are to inform you the great news according to which stunning Sofia Vergara is about to launch her first fragrance-Sofia! Thus, the new product offered by the star appears to be a result of a successful collaboration with with fragrance house Parlux Ltd. and packaging expert Maesa. Now, as for her role on this project our beloved celeb admits that she simply came up with the idea leaving the rest to the specialists: “I usually don’t like getting into things where I don’t have a say. I just don’t want to give them my name and say, ‘Do whatever you want.’ I am trying to create my brand,”

Now when it comes to the main source of inspiration our beloved celeb mentions that she used her culture capital in order to add a personal meaning to the new Sofia fragrance and to do so the star used notes from flowers from her own country: I have orchids and roses because those are my favorite flowers, and they’re Colombian. I wanted to bring a little bit of who I am, my ethnicity, where I’m from, and I thought it was very cool to be able to get flowers from Colombia actually into the perfume”, the 41 year old star explained.

The new Sofia by Sofia Vergara perfume consists of notes of blackberry, sparkling cassis buds, plum blended with middle notes of purple violet, Colombian Rose, Colombian Orchid and base notes of earthy woods, vanilla and sandalwood.

After all the only thing left to say is that the new Sofia by Sofia Vergara fragrance is set to be released the US at HSN until July and it’s going to be available in two bottles of 50 ml and 100 ml in pretty affordable prices.
