There are still ways of getting that streamlined look for your legs without contracting a personal trainer, and we’ll tell you how.
Reschedule Your Workout
One way to change up your workout routine is to reschedule it. If you usually work out in the mornings, try working out in the evenings instead. If you usually do three 1-hour sessions at the gym, change it up with five 30-minute sessions throughout the week. If you’re usually sweating it out in the weights section at the gym, try going cardio-heavy for the next two weeks. Rescheduling your workout routine is a great way to make sure that your muscles are constantly being challenged, so your body doesn’t start resting on its laurels.
Mind Your Diet
Are you eating lots of vegetables? Are you watching your sugar intake, including natural fruit sugars? Are you looking out for toxic food ingredients like high fructose corn syrup and partially hydrogenated oil? If not, you might want to do all of the above. Body massages help improve blood circulation, which helps to diminish the appearance (or potential) of cellulite. Massage therapists often use beauty oils for your massage, so your skin gets to share in on the rare luxury treatment, too.
Caffeine Body Scrub
You can use a caffeine scrub for any part of your body, so make sure you don’t skimp when it comes to your thighs! In fact, why not create your own caffeine body wash by mixing coffee grounds with coconut oil? Massage in circular motions on your thighs, and use a shower pouf if you wish.
Use Anti-Cellulite Creams
If you have cellulite, anti-cellulite creams are your next best friend. Apply after using the caffeine body scrub (or your regular scrub, for that matter). Massage the anti-cellulite cream into your thigh area, morning and night. This will make those thighs look like they’ve stepped out of Adobe Photoshop.
Drink Green Tea
If the Japanese got one thing right, it’s sushi and green tea — especially the latter. Green tea has antioxidant properties featuring flavonoids and catechins, and it also promotes fat-burning in the body. This will be an added bonus for your new, slender thighs!
Walk a Lot
Do yourself a favor and avoid vehicle transportation as much as possible. Walk to your destinations instead — this will force your lower muscles to work harder and burn extra fat. With time, you may even get a peek of the toned thigh muscles you’ve been working so hard for!
